Os Hupla são um povo indígena que habita as montanhas centrais de Papua, na Indonésia. Integrantes das comunidades tradicionais da Nova Guiné, vivem em aldeias rurais dedicadas ao cultivo da terra em vales isolados. Embora grande parte da população se identifique com o cristianismo, muitos ainda anseiam por um discipulado bíblico que transforme profundamente a vida cotidiana na própria língua materna.
