An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.
Afghanistan is one of the least reached fields on earth. Dozens of people groups remain without access to the gospel, and many languages still have no translation of the Scriptures. The Pashtuns, the largest ethnic group, number in the millions and remain strongly attached to Islam and the tribal code. Tajiks, Hazaras and Uzbeks complete the mosaic of peoples awaiting to hear of God's love in their own language.
