Bangladesh

Unreached people groups

An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.

Overview

Bangladesh is home to hundreds of people groups, and the vast majority remain unreached. The largest of them, the Muslim Bengali people, with more than 150 million members, is the largest unreached people group in the world. There are also dozens of tribal peoples in the hill and border regions, some with small Christian communities, but many still without access to the gospel in their own language. The field is vast, and the need for workers and translated Scriptures is enormous.
