An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.
Belarus is ethnically homogeneous, with a large majority of Belarusians, plus minorities of Russians, Poles and Ukrainians. The greatest spiritual challenge lies not in ethnic barriers but in deep secularization and nominal Christianity: most know the name of Christ, yet few live an active, personal faith. There are groups with little access to a living witness of the gospel, and faith communities that grow under restrictions.
