Bhutan

Unreached people groups

An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.

Overview

Bhutan is home to dozens of distinct peoples, scattered across valleys separated by mountains, and almost all of them follow Buddhism. Christians make up a tiny fraction of the population, and many groups do not even have a portion of Scripture in their mother tongue. It is one of the least reached fields in the Himalayas, where access to the gospel is still rare.
