An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.
Despite its tiny population, Christmas Island brings together peoples of very different origins: Chinese, Malay, European and Indian. Communities of Chinese and Malay origin, with strong ties to Buddhism, folk traditions and Islam, are among the least reached by the gospel, and some languages spoken on the island still lack the Scriptures fully accessible.
