An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.
Egypt brings together dozens of people groups, but the vast majority are Muslim Egyptian Arabs, the country's largest unreached people group. Evangelicals make up less than 1% of the population, even though the Coptic Christian community is large and ancient. Peoples such as the Nubians in the south and the Bedouins of the desert and Sinai still have little access to the gospel. The great challenge is to bring Christ, with love and wisdom, to the vast Muslim population.
