Finland

Unreached people groups

An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.

Overview

Finland is fairly homogeneous ethnically, made up mostly of the Finnish people, with a Swedish-speaking minority and the indigenous Sami people in the north. The presence of immigrants is also growing, especially in the major cities. Although the Christian tradition is ancient, the advance of secularization means much of the population lives, in practice, far from a personal faith, making the country a field for re-evangelization.
