Overview

Gabon is a mosaic of around forty Bantu ethnic groups, notably the Fang, the Mpongwe, the M'Bédé, and the Punu. Most already have access to the gospel and Christianity is widespread, but some peoples in the interior and the forest still lack a clear witness and Scripture in their own language. The challenge is less about openness and more about depth: discipleship that frees people from syncretism and reaches the most isolated communities.
