Guinea

Unreached people groups

An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.

Overview

Guinea is a mosaic of peoples, and many of them remain unreached. The three largest groups, Fula, Maninka and Susu, are strongly Muslim and have very few followers of Christ. Evangelicals make up less than 1% of the population, concentrated mainly in the forest region in the southeast. Dozens of peoples still do not have the Bible translated into their mother tongue, and most have never had the chance to hear the gospel in a way they can understand.
