An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.
Laos is one of the most ethnically diverse countries in Southeast Asia, with 184 people groups speaking around 80 languages. Most of these peoples still have no established church among them: about 77% of the groups, accounting for nearly 2.3 million people, are considered unreached by the gospel, many of them living isolated in the mountainous regions of the north and east of the country.
