An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.
Monaco brings together 14 distinct ethnic groups living side by side in just over 2 km². Most are of European origin (French, Italians, Ligurians, Provençals, among others) and already have access to the gospel, though many live out their faith only as cultural tradition. The groups considered unreached are small Jewish and Arab communities, which remain without a church of their own or a relevant Christian witness around them. The principality's missionary challenge is not a lack of access to the message, but the shallowness of faith amid wealth and the constant flow of people passing through.
