Morocco

Unreached people groups

An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.

Overview

Morocco brings together 29 people groups, of which 27 are considered unreached with the gospel, practically the entire population of the country. The largest groups are the Moroccan Arabs and the various Amazigh (Berber) peoples of the Rif, the Atlas, and the south, along with the Sahrawis of the desert. The local church is small and discreet, made up mostly of former Muslims who meet in small groups, without any public structure.
