An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.
Joshua Project records only 4 people groups in Seychelles. The vast majority of the population belongs to the Seychellois Creole people, the result of the mixture of Africans, Europeans, and Asians throughout colonization, mostly Christian, but with a strong presence of tradition and nominalism. The other groups are small resident foreign communities in the country (British, French, and Chinese), with the Chinese community being the least reached by the gospel, as it is mostly non-religious. No people group in Seychelles is classified as unreached.
