Overview

Svalbard has only two identified people groups: Norwegians and Russians, who together make up almost the entire registered population of the archipelago. Neither group is considered unreached, but although faith is present as tradition, it is not yet lived out personally and actively by most people. Jan Mayen, having no permanent residents, has no catalogued civilian population.
