Overview

Togo brings together 54 people groups catalogued by the Joshua Project. In the south, the Ewe form the country's largest people and are already significantly reached by the gospel. In the center and north, peoples such as the Kotokoli, Tem, Chokossi and others live under strong influence of Islam and traditional religions, with little or no access to a local church. In all, nine peoples, totaling about 758,000 people, are still considered unreached, almost all concentrated in this central and northern belt of the country.
