An overview of the country's people groups, focusing on those who still have little or no access to the gospel in their own language and culture.
Wallis and Futuna has only three catalogued people groups: the Wallisians (East Uveans), the Futunans and the French residents of the territory. All are classified as "superficially reached": nearly the entire population identifies as Christian, mainly Catholic, but few live a personal, committed evangelical faith. There are no unreached people groups in the territory, but there is a great need for spiritual depth and biblical discipleship within a church that has already existed for almost two hundred years.
