Unreached people group
The Achi of Cubulco are a Mayan people who inhabit the mountains and valleys of the department of Baja Verapaz, Guatemala. Custodians of a rich cultural heritage, they keep the Achi language alive in daily life, agriculture, and oral traditions.
Their community life combines strong family bonds with ancestral customs, while facing the challenges of preserving their identity and finding lasting hope in the message of the gospel.
