Who they are
The Aggay are an Indigenous community living in the mountainous and forested areas of northern Luzon in the Philippines. Traditionally hunters and gatherers whose lives are closely intertwined with the tropical forests, they preserve a rich oral tradition and a deep bond with their ancestral land. They face the challenge of maintaining their cultural identity and way of life amid increasing contact with neighboring societies.
