Who they are
The Ainbai are a small Indigenous people who inhabit the tropical forests of northwestern Papua New Guinea, in Sandaun Province. Living in traditional villages, they retain their own language and depend on subsistence farming, hunting, and forest resources. The community preserves strong communal ties and a cultural heritage passed down orally from generation to generation.
