Who they are
The Aiome are an indigenous people living on the hillsides and in the tropical forests of Madang Province in Papua New Guinea. Living in villages closely integrated with the forest environment, they preserve their own language and ancestral subsistence practices. There is a strong Christian presence in the community, where the Christian faith is part of communal life and families’ daily decisions.
