Who they are
The Aizi Aproumu live along the shores of the Ébrié Lagoon in southern Ivory Coast, in communities in the Jacqueville and Dabou areas. Also known as the Aproin, they speak the Aproumu language, or Apro. The vast majority identify as Christians, while a small proportion of the people continue to practice traditional religions.
