Who they are
The Ak are a small Indigenous community living in the remote tropical forests of Sandaun Province in Papua New Guinea. Living in isolated villages, they maintain their own language and a way of life deeply connected to the rhythms of the forest and subsistence farming. Their oral traditions preserve the memory of the clan amid the challenges of geographic isolation.
