The Alune are an Indigenous people who inhabit the western part of Seram Island in Indonesia’s Moluccas archipelago. Known for their rich community traditions and subsistence farming in the tropical forests, they keep their own language alive and maintain a strong bond with their ancestral land, in harmony with the Christian faith rooted in the region.
