Who they are
The Ambrak are a small indigenous people living in the forests of Papua New Guinea’s interior. In their isolated villages, they preserve their mother tongue and a traditional way of life deeply connected to the land and local rivers. Although they have had contact with the Christian faith in recent decades, animist beliefs and respect for ancestral customs continue to exert a strong influence on the community.
