Who they are
The Anuta inhabit one of the most isolated islands in the Solomon Islands, in the Pacific Ocean. Although geographically situated in Melanesia, they have strong Polynesian cultural and linguistic roots. Known for community cooperation and mutual respect, they live by fishing and subsistence farming, preserving ancestral traditions and a strong Christian identity passed down through the generations.
