The Arara of Acre inhabit the forests of the far western Brazilian Amazon, near river basins and the border with Peru. Historically connected to the Pano linguistic group, they maintain a deep relationship with the forest, preserving ancestral knowledge and a vibrant oral tradition passed down from generation to generation.
