Who they are
The Auye are a small Indigenous group living in the highlands and forests of Papua, Indonesia. Living in isolated mountain villages, they maintain strong community ties and communicate in their own native language. Although much of the population has had contact with the Christian faith, many still lack consistent biblical discipleship that would deeply transform their families’ daily lives.
