Who they are
The Babanki, who call themselves Kejom, live in northwestern Cameroon in two villages: Kejom Keku and Kejom Ketinguh. Many also speak Cameroonian Pidgin, an English-based language used for communication between different groups. Both villages have reading and writing classes in Kejom, and a translation of the Bible into the language is underway. Most Babanki identify as Christian, and some follow traditional religions.
