Unreached people group Frontier
The Barein are an indigenous community inhabiting the central region of Chad, part of the country’s rich diversity of Chadic-speaking peoples. Primarily engaged in subsistence farming and livestock rearing, they live in rural villages where family and community ties shape their daily lives. Their cultural identity is deeply rooted in local traditions and Islamic faith, which guide their customs, celebrations, and collective values.
