Batsi

The Batsi, also known as Batsbis, are a small indigenous community of the Caucasus living primarily in eastern Georgia. With linguistic roots linked to the Nakh peoples, they preserve ancestral customs from the Tusheti mountains, although they are historically integrated into Georgian society. Their traditional language is transmitted orally and coexists daily with Georgian in community life.
