Who they are
The Beezen form a small indigenous community that inhabits the rural, mountainous areas of northwestern Cameroon. With a strong attachment to the land and communal life, they keep their traditional language alive through everyday interactions among families. They uphold ancestral customs and traditional beliefs while seeking to preserve their cultural identity and overcome isolation in a region marked by major geographical and social challenges.
