People
Who they are
The Behoa inhabit the valleys and mountains of central Sulawesi, an island in Indonesia, in a region known for its fertile landscapes and ancient traditions. They preserve their own language and a strong communal attachment to the land. Although most identify with the Christian faith, many still retain animist traditions inherited from their ancestors and need a deeper understanding of the Bible in their own language.
