Unreached people group Frontier
The Taznatit Berbers live in the oases of the Algerian Sahara, in the Gourara region, where they cultivate palm trees and keep alive the Taznatit language, one of the branches of Tamazight. Inheritors of ancient caravan routes, they maintain their own Berber customs amidst the Arab predominance in the region, with an identity shaped by the land, the oasis waters, and oral tradition.
