The Galibi of Uaçá are an Indigenous people living in the Uaçá River region and the lowlands of far northern Amapá, near the border with French Guiana. With strong ties to the waters and forests of the Amazon, they keep their communal traditions, fishing and subsistence farming alive, seeking to preserve their cultural identity and the memory of their ancestors amid regional changes.
