Who they are
The Chinese Tahitian people form a unique community in French Polynesia, descended from migrants who settled in the archipelago and integrated into the local culture. With an identity that blends Asian and Polynesian traditions, they play a vital role in the commerce and social life of the islands. Although the Christian faith is present within the community, many still need a living and personal understanding of the grace of the gospel.
