Who they are
The Greek Romani form a community with a strong sense of cultural identity and deep family ties in Greece. Although historically embedded in the country and using the Greek language in daily life, they maintain their own distinct traditions and a closely-knit community life. Most adhere to the Christian Orthodox tradition inherited from the local culture, yet many still lack a personal and transforming encounter with the gospel.
