The Dek are a small Indigenous community living in the Adamawa region of northern Cameroon. Traditionally engaged in family farming and cultivating the land, they maintain strong communal customs and preserve their mother tongue in everyday village life. Their culture reflects the history of northern Cameroon, where family relationships and cooperation among neighbors sustain daily life.
