Who they are

The Duranmin are a small Indigenous community living in the mountain forests and remote valleys of Papua New Guinea. Living in villages that are difficult to reach, they preserve a rich oral tradition and communicate in the Asaba language. Their identity is deeply tied to the land and the cycles of the tropical forest, and they maintain customs passed down from generation to generation.
