The Emerum are an Indigenous people who live in the forests and valleys of Papua New Guinea and communicate primarily in the Apal language. They live in villages united by strong kinship ties and maintain a way of life closely connected to the land. With widespread openness to the Christian faith, the community seeks to deepen its biblical knowledge and train new local leaders.
