Who they are
The Slavomolisanos are a small minority of Slavic origin living in the Molise region of southern Italy. Descendants of families who crossed the Adriatic Sea centuries ago, they preserve a unique linguistic variant of Croatian roots, deeply integrated into the daily life of the mountain villages where they keep their cultural memory alive.
