People
Who they are
The Fasu are an Indigenous people who inhabit the dense tropical forests and valleys near Lake Kutubu in Papua New Guinea. Traditionally connected to the river and forest, they organize their villages around strong clan ties, making a living through subsistence farming, fishing, and hunting. Today, the Christian faith is widespread in the community, shaping social and family relationships.
