Who they are
The East Frisians are a traditional community inhabiting northwestern Germany, near the North Sea coast. Custodians of a rich cultural heritage and ancient Germanic roots, they preserve customs closely tied to the land and community life. Although historic Christianity is part of their heritage, many today live distant from a personal experience with the gospel, influenced by secularization.
