Who they are
The Fyem live in central Nigeria, mainly in Plateau State. Also known as the Pyem, they have their own language and preserve communal farming traditions. Living in an area of significant cultural transition, they preserve their identity through strong kinship ties, cooperation in farming, and respect for community decisions.
