Who they are
The Gal are a small Indigenous people living in rural areas of Papua New Guinea, in communities surrounded by tropical forests. Daily life in the villages is shaped by family farming and strong kinship ties.
With much of the population identifying with the Christian faith, the community now seeks to grow in biblical maturity and strengthen its own language and culture amid the challenges of geographical isolation.
