Os galeshis são uma comunidade tradicional de pastores que habita as encostas arborizadas das montanhas Alborz, no norte do Irã. Intimamente ligados aos povos da região do mar Cáspio e falantes do idioma gilaki, preservam um modo de vida focado na criação de animais em áreas montanhosas, guardando costumes ancestrais e uma identidade muçulmana transmitida de geração em geração.
