Who they are

The Garus are an Indigenous people living in Madang Province, Papua New Guinea. They live mainly by subsistence farming and maintain strong ties to their community and ancestral lands. Although most of the community profess Christianity, the major challenge remains deep biblical discipleship and strengthening local churches so that the message of Jesus transforms every area of everyday life.
