Who they are
The Gresi are an Indigenous people living in the forests and valleys of northern Papua Province, Indonesia. With a deep connection to the land and rich oral traditions, they maintain their own language within their families and communities. Although contemporary influences are present, many still preserve ancestral customs and traditional beliefs connected to the spiritual world of the forest.
