Who they are
The Hahon are an Indigenous community on the island of Bougainville in Papua New Guinea. Living in villages surrounded by dense tropical forests, they maintain strong ties to their ancestral land and value community traditions passed down orally. Although the Christian faith is part of their recent history, deepening discipleship among younger generations remains an ongoing challenge.
