Who they are

The Jaghuri Hazaras are a traditional branch of the Hazara people settled in Pakistan, with roots in central Afghanistan. Speakers of the Hazaragi language, which belongs to the Persian family, maintain a strong sense of identity and community solidarity. Historically marked by persecution and displacement, they remain firmly attached to their traditions and to the Islamic faith, with no known Christian presence among them.
